Journey Leader:

Glenn Broughton

Born in England, Glenn Broughton discovered his spiritual path via a circuitous route which included school-teaching, founding and running an inner city community arts centre, house renovations and wholesale organic food distribution.

Having spent 6 months in the Avebury area researching the earths energies and another 6 months at a meditation retreat, Glenn went on to complete a two year qualification with ICCH (International College of Crystal Healing) and studied spiritual healing for two years with NFSH – National Federation of Spiritual Healers (The Healing Trust) in England.

Having had a deep fascination with crystals, crystal healing and using crystals in conjunction with earth energies for over twenty years, Glenn has a multitude of deep profound experiences relating to the field: crystal mining in Arkansas, USA; meditating with two of the original crystal skulls; a life-changing experience finding a ram’s head crystal skull on a beach to mention a few.

Today, Glenn lecturers internationally on sacred sites, earth mysteries and crop circles, has been the keynote speaker at both the American and Canadian Society of Dowsers Annual Conventions and is the co-founder of Earth Spirit Conferences in the USA. Glenn practises Vipassana meditation daily and leads spiritual development and earth mysteries groups and workshops.

Day 9 – Thurs 5 June

Depart the lodge around 6h30 with breakfast packs arriving at the Etosha National Park´s entrance around 7 am. In the vast arid space of Northern Namibia lies one of Southern Africa’s best loved wildlife sanctuaries. Etosha National Park offers excellent game viewing in one of Africa’s most accessible venues. Zebra and springbok are scattered across the endless horizon, while the many waterholes attract endangered black rhinoceros, lion, elephant and large numbers of antelope.

Etosha, meaning ‘place of dry water’, encloses a huge, flat calcrete depression (or pan) of about 5 000 km². The ‘Pan’ provides a great, parched, silver-white backdrop of shimmering mirages to an area of semi-arid savannah grassland and thorn scrub. The pan itself contains water only after heavy rains and sometimes for only a few days each year, but is enough to stimulate the growth of the blue-green algae which lures thousands of flamingos.

Spend the morning game viewing en route to our rest camp. After arrival and check in, enjoy some leisure time game viewing at the camp water hole, swimming or relaxing.

Meet Glenn late afternoon for the 5th session covering using crystals to heal others: Dowsing the Chakra System; Creating a crystal grid and a crystal healing layout.

Enjoy a leisurely walk around the property and view Zebra, 5 different antelope species, Giraffes, warthogs and Wildebeest (there are no danderous animals here) and a sundowner before the farewell dinner.

Overnight Otjibamba Game Lodge on a dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 11 – Sat 7 June

Spend a few hours in Windhoek for last shopping or relaxing before returning to Airport by 14h00 for return/onward flights.

Journey information:

Collecting of Crystals

It is illegal to collect stones in Namibian National Parks, however, we will be visiting some areas where you will be able to find and collect your own crystals (within reason and with care and respect) You will have many opportunities to support local families by buying crystals from the area around Erongo and at various shops.

Traditional healers

In southern Africa, traditional healers work with the spirit medium, through their ancestors. Traditional healers find solutions to emotional, physical and psychological ailments and/or illnesses by using the spiritual links with their ancestors in conjunction with medicine that is derived from plants, animals and other life. The medicines are from far and wide and all healers go into the bush to collect their own medicines.

Interestingly enough, traditional healers do not work with the crystal realm in their treatments. On our journey, we have the opportunity to find out from the traditional healers how they work and the role they play in society. We visit them in their own treatment areas and they freely explain the methods they use for spiritual and medicinal healing. Guests have the opportunity to speak freely and ask questions. One on one treatment is possible on an optional extra basis and can be arranged a few days prior to the visit.

The accommodation (where possible) is in smaller personalized guesthouses that similar groups have enjoyed over many years. Each is special in its own way and all offer exceptional food and hospitality.

Our partner on the ground specialises in small special interest groups and the guides are knowledgable on Geology, Botany, Wildlife, People and natural demographics of Namibia and Southern Africa.
