Peru & Bolivia – Wisdom Path of the Ancients

For thousands of years, Peru was home to some of the most advanced civilizations man has known. Today, Peru is steeped in ancient prophecies, wisdom and love that are vital for our planet during these transitional times.

From the wonder of magical Machu Picchu to the mystery of Tiwanaku in Bolivia, these ancient lands beckon one to explore….

Whilst walking the mystical Wisdom-Path of the Ancients, you will discover that The Andes is bursting with communities who are extremely loving and warm. These ‘Children of the Sun’ are true masters of life. They have deep wisdom, love and gratitude for all, on every level. This is clearly visible through their daily practices with people, animals, plants, the Cosmos and Mother Earth (Pachamama).

It is often said that a journey to Peru is like a journey into one’s own heart! Imagine yourself breathing in the mystical air of the Andes Mountains as you walk the wisdom-path of the Ancients, steered through time immemorial, as you visit many powerful places with your expert Journey Leaders, South African born Linda Jordaan, an Andean Tradition Initiate and Shaman and Jorge Luis Delgado, a Peruvian Shaman, Teacher and Author of ‘Andean Awakening – An ‘Inca Guide to Mystical Peru’.

This heartfelt journey is unlike any other! As you open yourself and walk alongside the Ancients through mystical Peru and Bolivia, you will attain higher dimensional awareness as new strands of your DNA activates within you that were previously dormant, bringing balance as the feminine and masculine unite within you. This mystical journey is one of further personal enlightenment from both outer and inner journey perspectives.  It is a journey of deep love, wisdom, understanding and knowing!

Journey Leader, Linda Jordaan, will perform the DNA-change activations using Keys of Divine Light, a sacred language brought into being for this purpose and timeline. Linda will also facilitate the group Earth activations within specific sites throughout the journey.

15 days / US$ 020 / 2- 11 April 2015

Life in the Incan empire was measured by a thousand year cosmic cycle. This cycle was divided into halves, of which each was referred to as a ‘Pachacuti’. The Cosmo vision of the Andean world is the conception of duality that is in permanent opposition, yet complimentary and reflected in the principle of masculine/feminine, yin/yang, earth/sky, above/below, light/dark. The term ‘Pachacuti’ is also used to refer to the transitional time that divides each 500-year cycle, and is regarded as a time of great change!

During the 500 years of the 8th Pachacuti, the greatest spiritual leader of the Incas, Pachacuteq, ruled. This was a time of light, good fortune and expansion for the Inca Empire as it flourished. The 9th Pachacuti (the opposite side of duality) brought with it 500 years of darkness as the Spanish invaders conquered the Inca and the people lost their power…

According to legend, during the time Lemuria was sinking, one of the seven Great Masters of Lemuria, Lord Aramu Muru, was given the task of bringing the sacred Golden Solar Disc from the Temple of Illumination to Lake Titicaca for safe keeping. During the Inca time, the Solar Disc was transferred to Cusco and placed in the Koricancha – the main temple of the Incas and remained there until the Spanish invasion, when it was returned to the eternal etheric city under Lake Titicaca. It is said that this sacred Solar Disc was used to receive light information directly from the Universal Mind Source, Viraqocha, at the centre of the galaxy. By entering the Temple of Illumination and opening themselves up, the Lemurians, and later the Incas, could access sacred wisdom…

We have now entered the 10th Pachacuti, which the locals refer to as the return of Pachacuteq and of Light, characterized by the manifestation of the feminine, a feminine in balance with the masculine, a time when the Condor rises and flies wing to wing with Eagle in the sky as they bring balance to the world.

Many of the world’s spiritual leaders, as well as indigenous teachers, acknowledge that the energy of the planet has shifted from the masculine energy of Tibet, to the feminine energy of the Andes and in particular Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley of the Incas. These are the recognized areas of new feminine energies entering the Earth and the sacred Solar Disc serves as a portal through which these new feminine, love energies radiate into the world. It is powerful Heart energy!

Now is deemed to be the time when we once again have the opportunity to connect with the etheric crystal city of Machu Picchu, the eternal etheric city under Lake Titicaca and the lost golden city of Paititi, and to tap into the Ancient wisdom that is ready for us to access!

Depart the hotel with your backpack and overnight bag with you for the night in Machu-Picchu.

First, visit Sacsaywaman, a spectacular site that holds the great house of the Sun – the place where the head of the Puma of Cusco resides. Its megalithic, zigzag stonewalls were pieced together with amazing skill, drawing snakes and other Andean symbols like a lightning bolt across the great field.

During the afternoon, take the train from Cusco to Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu.  After arrival, you have time browse the local market before dinner.

Own arrangements for lunch and dinner.

Overnight in Aguas Calientes on a Bed & Breakfast basis.

Day 3 – Sat 4 April

Take the early morning bus to Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is generally known as the Crystal City; the Rainbow City; the City of the Condor and the Hummingbird; the City of Peace and the City of Light. The legendary beauty of this magnificent city defies description. Machu Picchu is, without doubt, one of the most fascinating wonders and mysterious citadels in the world. Located at 112 kilometres (69 miles) northwest of Cusco and at an altitude of 2,450 meters (8,038ft) on a mountain ridge above the sacred Urubamba valley, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is breath-taking beautiful and is an energetic powerhouse. The entire stone complex is a high voltage magnetic epicentre that amplifies every invocation and intention – it is a place where literally anything is possible. Once accessible only by Inca nobility and the highest Inca priests, Machu Picchu is dramatic, mysterious and magical – famed as the highlight of Peru and certainly unforgettable!

We return to Cusco by afternoon train. Own arrangements for lunch and dinner.

Overnight in Cusco on a Bed & Breakfast basis.

Day 4, Sun 5 April

With much to integrate after Machu Picchu, today is a free day at your leisure – a perfect time to see more of the beauty of Cusco, its markets, museums, Koricancha Church and the art gallery.

Late afternoon, join the group for a fun activity, followed by a group dinner.

Day 5, Mon 6 April

Today, leave Cusco at 7am by Tourist Bus for Puno. This is a pleasant drive with enjoyable stops along the way. One of the sites we will see is Raqchi, the magnificent Temple of Viraqocha. This is an extremely powerful site which, according to the old storytellers, was built by the Inca Wiracocha in honour to the Superior God ‘Apu Kon Titi Viraqocha’, who was invisible to the Andean people.

A buffet lunch will be enjoyed on route and we arrive in Puno around 17h00 and transfer to our hotel. The evening is at leisure. Own arrangements for dinner.

Day 6, Tues 7 April

This morning, boat to Taquile Island on Lake Titicaca. We will explore the less touristy and scenic part of the island and meet local weaver families to learn about their textile art and symbolism.

Whilst on Taquile Island, we will experience a traditional ceremony with Jorge Luis and/or the local Shaman and enjoy a traditional lunch, before departure.

On our way back to Puno we will visit the floating islands on Lake Titicaca.

Once back in Puno, we transfer to our hotel where the rest of the evening is at leisure. Own arrangements for dinner.

Overnight in Puno on a Lunch, Bed & Breakfast basis.

Day 7, Wed 8 April

We have an early departure to the Bolivian border. Once in Bolivia, we continue on to the Island of the Sun on Lake Titicaca. Isla del Sol, Island of the Sun in English, is considered the very birthplace of the world, or the birth of the Sun God according to the Incas. It is here, according to the myths, that the God Viraqocha, creator of the universe, stepped out of the waters of Lake Titicaca and created the sun. Even today, Isla del Sol is covered in Inca ruins and filled with myth and legend. Visiting this island is an incredible experience and a firm highlight of the trip.

At the right time we will visit the initiation centre of the Kesanani Intiwatana. Own arrangements for lunch and dinner.

Overnight in Copacabana, Bolivia on a Bed & Breakfast basis.

Day 8, Thurs 9 April

This morning, we make our way to Tiwanaku, located shores of Lake Titicaca at an altitude of 3 850m, making it one of the highest urban centres ever constructed. The city of Tiwanaku (also known as Tiahuanaco) was the capital of a powerful pre-Inca civilization that dominated the Andean region between 400 and 900 AD. Surrounded in large part by mountains and hills, the Tiwanaku Culture began as a small settlement that later flourished into a planned city. Most of the ancient city was largely built from adobe and has been overlaid by the modern town. However, the monumental stone buildings of the ceremonial centre survive and are part of a protected archaeological zone. Only a small portion of the city has been excavated. The monumental remnants of this great culture include several temples, a pyramid, symbolic gates, monoliths and mysterious carvings.  The Incas later arrived and regarded Tiwanaku as the site of creation by their god ‘Viraqocha’ who rose from the depths of Lake Titicaca to explore this great centre of the Sun, Moon and Stars.

After lunch in Tiwanaku, we return to the Peruvian boarder and transfer to our Hotel in Puno. Own arrangements for dinner.

Overnight in Puno on a Bed & Breakfast basis.

Day 9, Fri 10 April

In the morning, we visit the Molloko Chullpas, located on the slopes of a hill just three kilometres from the town of Accra.

The Molloko Chullpas are from pre-Inca times and dates back from 800 to 1400 AD. This settlement was possibly built by Lupacas culture, although it should be mentioned that there is influence of the Inca culture, especially in funerary structures, possibly made during the Inca settlement in the area between the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries and is a sacred initiation site.

We then visit Huya Marka where we will explore the Aramu Muru multi-dimensional gateway. It is a huge door-like structure that has long been valued by the local people as a ‘gateway to the lands of the gods’.

On route back to our hotel, we visit the temple of fertility.

Tonight, enjoy the group farewell dinner.

Overnight in Puno on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis.

Day 10, Sat 11 April

This is our last day and we leave the hotel with all our luggage. We travel off the beaten track along a scenic route to visit one of the archaeological gems of the Altiplano. Sullistani was a cemetery built in the XIII century by a civilisation that occupied the area before the Inka domination. These Chullpas were important resting places of Ancient kings and important people of the time. They were strategically chosen in exceptional beautiful spots.

We will take part in a guided tour and closing ritual circle, before transferring to Juliaca airport to return to Lima and meet our international connections. Please book your flights to leave Juliaca around midday.
